The mission of Profound Family Resource is to empower families with special needs children and adults through education and resources.
Profound Family Resource began in 2015 by an individual that really wanted to make a difference for families that shared her experience. Dani Gardiner founder of Profound Family Resources has three brothers with fragile X a chromosomal disorder resulting in mild to moderate mental disability. Coming from a working family with limited financial resources her parents struggled to make ends meet. Both of her parent’s worked multiple jobs and had little time to hunt down resources for their family. It was difficult to understand their situation as fragile X was often difficult to diagnose in the ‘70s. Being the only daughter and only child not impacted by fragile X Dani became a step-in care-giver at an early age.
Now she maintains the care-giver status but has gone through the pain of seeking out resources, monitoring medical situations, going through legal battles to gain guardianship, applying for complex state aid, and several other struggles that go along with having disabled family members. Along with this far reaching experience she’s also excelled in educational endeavors with bachelor and master degree as well as a Certified Public Accountant a Certified Tax Coach and Sole Owner of Profound Financial Services as well as a Financial Advisor through Cetera Financial Specialist.
